Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Upholding the HSE policy and procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture in both the Company and Contractor Teams.
- Build strong relations with the Contractors, Management and Senior Leadership members.
- Take every opportunity to train and coach Kurdishpersonnel in Development, Operations and
Maintenance groups, in all matters of project management.
- The safe delivery of the project to the target schedule and cost.
- The management of multi-functional teams.
- Interface with other functions to ensure smooth transition from projects to the operational phase.
- Ensuring that the quality standards are met.
- Ensuring that the plant meets all the operational and technical requirements.
- Leading other members of the team and providing them with guidance and expertise as required.
- Ability to forecast both the CAPEX and the completion dates based on progress and performance to date.
- Assist with preparation of project plans, schedules, equipment, cost estimation and status reports.
Requirements:
- Qualified to Degree level or equivalent.
- Prior experience with an operator is desirable.
- Experience in working with high H2S feedstock full familiarity with NACE standards.
- A minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in leading commercial negotiations with contractors.
- Ability to work with hard reporting lines and dotted line responsibilities.
- Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
- Chartered engineer preferred.
Working Conditions:
Rotational role 6/2 rotation based at Field, with
occasional trips to the office.
