Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in control systems, sensors, motors, and electrical circuits.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments such as pressure, temperature, and flow transmitters.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical panels, wiring, and safety devices.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Support commissioning and start-up of new equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and calibration data.
- Assist in shutdown and turnaround activities as required.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve technical issues.
- Report hazards, incidents, and equipment performance concerns to supervisors.
- Responsible for the proper use of tools, materials, and spare parts. Assist in identifying material requirements and reporting inventory needs.
Requirements:
- Technical diploma or vocational training in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in industrial or field environments.
- Hands-on experience with control systems, field instruments, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills in E&I systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, control loops, and automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical and instrumentation schematics.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
Field-based, rotational, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
